About the company
Founded in 2004, Rocksteady Studios is based in Highgate, North London, in a spacious, purpose built office stuffed with plants. We are a new energetic company formed by a team of industry professionals who have known and worked with each other for many years. This gives us an ideal balance of drive, talent, proven methods, experience and cutting edge technology. We have strong company values and a clear strategy for the future.
Prior to starting Rocksteady, Jamie Walker and Sefton Hill worked at one of the UK largest independent developers as Creative Director and Head of Production respectively. Now employing over 35 people, Rocksteady’s mission is to be a highly professional, efficient company whose purpose is to make great games, and have happy and healthy team members. This philosophy is at the heart of our company.
Our current project is a FPS title for next generation platforms. Our previous titles include the highly acclaimed (and great to play!) Urban Chaos: Riot Response on PlayStation 2 and Xbox. Urban Chaos: Riot Response is a first person shooter, in which the elite of the emergency services must defend the city against extreme terrorist gangs! The entire company is focused on making our latest title follow in the successful footsteps of Urban Chaos and become our second widely enjoyed game.
